Todd Family Pays It Forward Raising $1,700 for ATK Conference

We first met the Todd Family in Cleveland, Ohio at the 2018 ATK Kabuki Syndrome Conference and Family Gathering. Their son, Kevin, was diagnosed with Kabuki Syndrome in January 2018 and Mom, Marcella, was on a mission to educate herself about this rare genetic disorder. They had a desire to attend our conference but personal finances were limited. With sponsorship support from Takeda Pharmaceuticals, ATK was able to offer the Todd's a small travel stipend to cover their lodging during the event.

The Todd's have been a blessing to ATK and other families experiencing financial hardships since! They hosted a fundraiser in late 2018 to ensure families needing financial assistance for the 2019 conference could attend. Fall 2019 the Todd's hosted a carnival fundraiser at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Indiana, raising $1,700 for the 2020 ATK Conference & Family Gathering! Thank you Marcella, and all that donated and made their fundraiser possible. This is such an incredible Pay It Forward story!
